The REALSKI® Lite application utilizes features only found in the iPhone 3GS. Version 1.0 Lite includes maps for five North American resorts.
REALSKI Lite utilizes the camera, compass, GPS, and other 3GS features to overlay ski runs and key points of interest in augmented reality at some of the most popular mountain resorts across the United States. Point your phone and watch as chairlifts, runs, facilities, and more pop up on the screen.
Why another trail map application? The answer is REAL easy. It is your first experience at a new ski resort and you’re standing at the top of an unfamiliar lift. You are wondering where the closest black diamond run. So simply point your iPhone’s camera in any direction, scan across the mountain, and REALSKI provides the answer by overlaying augmented markers of configurable points of interest such as black diamond runs, facilities and chairlifts.
Version 1.0 Lite includes:
Maps for Deer Valley, Killington, Northstar-at-Tahoe, Stevens Pass, and Copper Mountain. Note: These maps are not “official” trail maps. REALSKI is not affiliated with the mountain resorts listed.
Virtual Visit Mode – Enjoy REALSKI when you are not at a resort. You can experience the REALSKI augmented reality view anywhere from the mountain to your living room.
